Japanese Soldiers Build Giant Star Wars Sculptures Out Of Snow

Recently in Japan, members of the 11th Brigade of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force created a giant snow sculpture that features a 50 foot tall Darth Vader. The incredible sculpture is 75 ft wide and also features stoormtroopers, TIE fighters, and even a Death Star.

The project had approval from Lucasfilm and was built as part of Japan’s annual Sapporo Snow Festival. It took 3,500 tons of snow to build and took almost a month to complete.
